Cvičenie a privikanie
Korelu si prineste v transportke alebo v krabici domov čo najkratšou cestou domov. Doma musí byť klietka už zariadená. Keď korelu pustíte do klietky, nesmiete tam nič meniť ani tam siahať. Pametajte si že vaša korela práve prežila šok. V žiadnom prípade ju nechytajte ani ju nedráždite! Mohla by vás bolestivo uštipnúť. Najprv nechajte vtáka o samote aby si mohol klietku obzrieť. Až na druhý deň si k nemu sadnite a hovorte s ním. Oslovujte ho menom ktoré ste mu vybrali alebo mu pískajte melódie. Postupne sa naučí reagovať na svoje meno. Keď korela poskakuje po bydielkach a obzerá si svoj nový domov znamená to že vaša korela prežila šok. Pre korely je dôležitý pokoj v noci. Nezvyčajné zvuky môžu korely veľmi vystrašiť. V panike sa korela môže aj zabiť. Všimnite si že vaša korela si sama vyberie miesto na spanie a sama si určí čas spánku. Ráno bude pre korelu rozčuľujúce lebo jej musíte dať krmivo. Keď jej vymieňate krmivo hovorte na ňu pokojným hlasom aby korela nadobudla myšlienku ruka prináša krmivo! Ako skrotiť korelu: 1. Poškrabkajte korelu jemne v perí na bruchu.
